Bubblegum Tutu
Posted by amy | at 5:10 PM | 0 commentsThis is what I call the bubblegum tutu. This one is different shades of pink. The reason I call it the bubblegum tutu is because of how it's tied at the ends. I use at least double the tulle on these so they are just a little bit more expensive, but so worth it!

How to "repoof" that Tutu!
Posted by amy | at 6:18 PM | 0 commentsYou've received your tutu & it's completely squished!
Flat as a pancake!
OMG! What are you going to do before the little one sees it or you have to wrap it for that great present?
Well, I once sent some tutus to another state for a fashion show. When they were finished with them, they mailed them back to me. Now usually if I ship more than 1 tutu, I roll them & tie them with ribbon to prevent the major squishing I'm talking about.
When I got these tutus back, I was devastated! I thought they were absolutely ruined. They looked awful.
I experimented some & found a way to poof them back out.
All you have to do is get a hanger & hang the tutu in the bathroom while you shower. The steam relaxes the tulle & you can then finger comb the tutus back into their original shape.
Isn't that just awesome? !

Cable internet has arrived!
Posted by amy | at 1:37 PM | 0 commentsI got it! Finally. It took over an hour to hook up, but it's finally all done. I will not be kicked off anymore due to stormy weather. YAY!!!! Now I have no hot water & no one's volunteering to light the pilot light for me. I need a shower so I can take my kid to see Where the Wild Things Are tonight. Anyway, I'm off to the post office to mail my tutus! Remember for every tutu I sell, I will donate one. Let's get those orders in.

Ready for my 1st Donation
Posted by amy | at 9:24 PM | 0 commentsI'm mailing the ladybug tutu tomorrow morning. It would have been mailed before now, but I could not retrieve the address from my email due to my internet not working. But that will not be a problem(crossing my fingers & knocking on some wood) after tomorrow since I am getting cable internet in the morn.
So you know what that means..........drumroll.............I'm ready to do my first donation!!!!!!
If anyone has any suggestions, please email them to me at amysfabulousdolls@gmail.com
I would never tell anyone who you suggest or where I get any of the names.
It's all confidential.
Then I have 2 more tutus to make, pink lemonade style. So that will be 2 more donations!
So get those suggestions rolling in!

Hannah Montana Tutu
Posted by amy | at 3:13 PM | 0 commentsI made this tutu for my daughter to wear to her 5th birthday party. It was inspired by Hannah Montana.
tutus, tutus, & more tutus
Posted by amy | at 2:48 PM | 0 commentsI have to say, I really can make whatever you want. If I haven't done it before, I will try my hardest & give it my best shot. If it isn't what you want, then you don't have to pay for it. Someone else will probably like it. Tutus are just adorable!

I am so thankful!
Posted by amy | at 4:09 PM | 0 commentsto everyone who has visited this blog during the past few days!
I have been offline due to storms in my area. I currently have wireless, but am planning on switching to cable internet within the next week to prevent the blackouts during the storms & rain.
I know everyone has been patiently waiting on more pictures. For some reason, blogger won't allow me to upload photos at this time.
Please try going to myspace to look at them.

The first sale
Posted by amy | at 12:50 PM | 0 commentsI've sold a ladybug tutu this morning so I will be doing my first donation very very soon. Any suggestions for donations should be emailed to amysfabulousdolls@gmail.com please.
I adopted this idea from TOMS shoes. I think it's awesome what he does & wanted to do my part in giving back to the world. In my life coach training, I've realized that I want to work with women & children. I want to help make their lives better so this is where I'm starting. Please help spread the word. Shout it from the rooftops! At least link from your site. lol
